The delica bracelets are stitched together with a heavy duty nylon thread (usually used for upholstery). While the pieces should give you years of wear, they should also be treated carefully. Water may affect the permanence of the color and I would be careful about getting them wet. The brass, copper and silver findings can be polished using a light touch.
